What is your opportunity rate?
60-65%. Some weeks we have had 100% other weeks its lower. Weather is major factor.
Can we check out your place during the nonhunting months?
Yes. Many of our hunters take advantage of our Resort season to check out what we have to offer. We recommend for you to visit in July or August if that fits into your schedule. Many large bucks are out in the fields during this time of year. Or many hunter like to visit at the end of February and all of March to look for sheds.
How do I get my archery permit?
The easiest way is to fill out the appliation online or you can call in and have the application mailed to you. For a five day hunt, your total costs for license and tags will be around $450 for nonresidents. Residents the cost is around $50.
How do I get my gun permit?
Your deer permit can be purchased online. Go to the IDNR's web site to obtain your tag.
Do you have ground blinds?
Yes. We have many hunters who enjoy hunting out of a ground blind.
What is your average treestand height?
The average height is 15-18 feet. We can lower them or raise them to meet the hunter's needs.
Can I use expandable broadheads?
Yes.
What is your 140 class area?
This area is for hunters who are willing to pass on 130 class Whitetails. This is very popular with our repeat hunters who have harvested a 130 class with us already.
Can we harvest does?
Yes. We encourage the harvesting of does. This helps us have a healthy deer heard. If you do not want the meat we donate it to local families.
Are the deer free roaming?
Yes. No high fences.
