Heartland Lodge and Illinois waterfowl hunting, cannot be compared to any other area in the United States. Hunt diver ducks such as Canvas Backs along the great Mississippi River; or Mallards, Wood Ducks, and Teal in the flooded bean, corn and millet fields with over twenty blinds and pits to occupy. Choose hunting large Canadian Geese from one of our pits, or one of our lay-out blinds!
Heartland is excited to announce that for the first time our hunters will have the opportunity to hunt an exclusive location called Crooked Slough. Crooked Slough is a private waterfowl setting that has never been open to the public! This natural spot for ducks consists of flooded fields and heated pits. The locals consider this waterfowl spot one of the best in the Mid-West!
|
Art Rodenberg is the owner of Crooked Slough and will be managing our waterfowl hunts. This secluded spot has been in his family for over 70 years! Art has been waterfowl hunting all his life and comes from a life in corporate America. His attention to detail and excellence in customer service will assure all of our hunters a quality experience.
The
experience doesn't end in the field. You'll instantly feel comfortable
with home-cooked meals and friendly staff who are always
at Heartland Lodge.
