Rooms and Conference Facilities

Original Lodge Rooms

Regular Room - There are eleven regular rooms. These rooms have two extra long, triple sheeted twin beds with a private bathroom. Each room is decorated to a certain theme according to its name.

Angler Room - This room has a queen size, triple sheeted bed and a set of bunk beds. This room also has a private bath and is decorated in a fishing theme.

Whitetail Suite - This room has a King size, triple sheeted canopy bed, fireplace and a private jacuzzi. It also has a walkout porch that is nice to view the wildlife.

All of these room are located in The Original Lodge.

Prairie Ridge Rooms

Luxury Suite - There are seven luxury suites in our Prairie Ridge Lodge. These suites have King size, triple sheeted canopy beds, private Jacuzzi, fireplace, day bed, comfy chairs, walkout porch, mini refrigerators and are decorated according to its own theme. The ultra comfy beds have become an attraction themselves!

These suites are located in the Prairie Ridge Lodge.

Sunset Valley Rooms

There are seven unique suites and rooms available at Sunset Valley.  All of the rooms feature an ultra-comfy, triple-sheeted bed and have been furnished with hand-made Old Hickory furniture. Five of these rooms, including The Grand Suite and All About The View, offer an amazing view of the sunset over the Mississippi River bluffs.  The private bath of The Grand Suite features a two-person shower and sauna while two of the suites feature a heart-shaped Jacuzzi, all with the same amazing view!

Conference Facilities - We have a 1500sq ft conference area in the new lodge  and a separate boardroom in the original lodge.. The board room seats sixteen people.

Wireless access and telephone lines are available for connecting to the internet to outside sources. We have all of your conference amenities available for your meetings.

Rec Room - This room has a large screen television, pool table, card table, and library. Restrooms are available in this room. All three lodges have a recreational room.

Great Room - This room has a large stone fireplace, Remington statues, and a large open ceiling. The Original Lodge and Sunset Valley Lodge both have a large great room.

Dining Room, Meals & Sleeping Accommodations

Dining Room & Meals are an attraction themselves, home-cooked and plentiful! And of course, refreshments and snacks can be provided at your daily meetings.

Sleeping Accommodations are the finest, with freshly made country beds and fluffy feather pillows. It's just like being back at Grandma's house.

Our corporate conference center includes 1500sq ft and a seperate boardroom along with wireless high-speed internet access, fax machines, multiple phone lines, copy machines, projectors, easels, white board, etc. Our conference facilities provide the perfect place to host your meeting for your executive group. You'll be amazed at how a relaxed atmosphere creates improved productivity. Indoor & Outdoor Recreation Activities

Indoor Recreation includes pool table, card table, library (books & videos), games and much more!

Outdoor Recreation ... Where do we start? How about our famous evening hay ride! Take a trip along the Mississippi River bluffs and see an elk farm, Texas longhorns, deer, turkey, and the most scenic river valley view in the Midwest! Enjoy the breathtaking sunset across the river in the Missouri hills (weather permitting). We offer horseback riding,  sporting clays, fishing, hunting, ATV's, golfbike riding, volleyball, croquet, bonfires, Old West cookouts, cross country skiing, sled riding, mountain biking, and over 1,200 acres of trails, ponds and unmatched scenic beauty. As if all that wasn't enough, trips can be arranged to visit historic Hannibal, MO (Mark Twain and Molly Brown's birth homes, museums, and more) or Springfield, IL (home of Abraham Lincoln). Transportation

Even though Heartland Lodge is nestl ed away in the country, it is very easy to travel to. The resort is located only 80 miles from St. Louis, Missouri’ International airport. The scenic drive along the Mississippi River to the resort is something you will look forward to. Quincy IL (50 miles) and Springfield IL (70 miles) also offer commercial air transportation. Pittsfield IL (15 miles) has a public airport for those flying in private planes. (4,000 ft) Helicopters can land right on the property.  

If driving please follow our directions. Driving to the lodge is very easy. We are only 2 miles off Hwy 96 or 15 miles from Interstate 72.

 

Deposit & Cancellation Policy

Deposit Policy
50% deposit is due when making your reservations.

Cancellation Policy
Due to the nature of our business we ask for a 60 day cancellation notice. A processing fee of 10% of your total booking will be charged when cancelling. Cancellations without 60 days notice will not be refunded. If someone in your original booking party does not show, you will be charged the full amount. These policies help us provide you with better service.

Harpole's Heartland Lodge strives to give our guests the best experience possible. We understand that your upcoming trip is a significant investment. We offer trip insurance through North America's leading provider of Travel Insurance called "Travel Guard".
