Testimonials

  • What a gem!!!  I knew as opportunity came to explore, that your "Retreat" lodge was "Christian" and I found it to be a comfort and a blessing, it is evident that it is by the employee's kindness and willingness to serve, their hospitality and just the general feel one gets.  I have already recommended Harpole's Heartland Lodge to 20 of my friends.
    - Illinois Policy Institute, Michelle
  • Everything was great!  The food was worth the trip alone.  Every meal was excellent but the best of the best was the meatloaf!  The activities were very fun and enjoyable and both Mike and Matt went out of their way to make sure that we had a good time.  Everyone at the resort was extremely friendly and helpful.  The only negative was the gnats and that was overcome with the bug spray available at the gift shop.
    - Auto Trader.com, Steve Price
  • Great time up at your lodge.   Excellent rooms, meals and staff.  Thanks for your hospitality!
