Win an overnight stay in one of our luxury suites!! To enter all you have to do is post a comment below.
Overnight Stay - Includes: Dinner, Hayride, Bonfire, Smores, Overnight Stay, Brunch, Sodas and ATV ay Pass (Using your own ATV) for two people in a Luxury Suite. These suites have King size, triple sheeted canopy beds, private Jacuzzi, fireplace, day bed, comfy chairs, walkout porch, and are decorated according to its own theme. The ultra comfy beds have become an attraction themselves! (Good Sun -Fri, expires April 30th 2012. Not availabile during hunting season October 1st-December 25th, 2011) For more information on our resort go to our resort page.

I have stayed at the lodge one night for valentines weekend, it was one of the best getaways I have experienced. The view, suite, and food was wonderful. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Hi! We stayed with you guys back in 2007 for my birthday in September and had a fabulous time! Our room was amazing, the grounds were amazing and the meals....were AMAZING!! We also enjoyed the ATV's, horseback ride w/picnic basket and the clays. Would love to come back for another visit!!

My Wife and I spent our 14th Wedding Anniversary here, March 2011, and we totally loved the place. We have been wanting to come back before the hunting season starts. We have told numerous people about this wonderful place and had one of them book a weekend already. They loved it just as much as we did. Wish you had more ATVs to rent so another couple could come with us and all four of us ride together. Thank you for such a great place.

My wife and I stayed at the lodge last February as we did a long weekend to view the eagles along the river. We had a fantastic stay. The lodge was beautiful. And our deluxe room was perfect, with 4-poster bed, fireplace, whirlpool tub, etc....
We'll definitely be back again!

Troy and I stayed at the lodge several years ago for our anniversary. We had a wonderful time!!! We went 4-wheeling thru the woods and even took a horseback ride. We hope to make it back there soon!

My husband and I booked the lodge for our wedding in 2004 and haven't been back, although we talk about it every fall. We still remember what an enjoyable time we had with our family...skeet shoot, hayride, bonfire, delicious meals...we made memories we will never forget.

My husband and i stayed in august of 2010. Beatiful place, loved the hayride. We brought our atv's and rode the trails. Would like to try hirseback riding next time and would love to stay the whole weekend.

We haven't had our resort vacation away yet - next month! But when we visited initially we immediately knew it was the place for us to retreat and relax and recoup after a long year of work, world and cares. The resort isn't isolated but it's away from everything that would burden us. Can't wait!

I stumbled upon this site last year and it looked wonderful! I gave all the information to a lady I worked with and she and her husband brought their grandkids with them for a weekend retreat. The pictures and stories she told made this sound like a wonderful place to get away from all the hustle and bustle of life. Since I am a single mom, I would LOVE to be able to treat my family to this experience. Thank you for the chance!

Had a wonderful, relaxing stay! Totally worth the drive from Chicago. Particularly enjoyed the horseback riding, the nightly bonfire and the hayride. Don't miss it!

I've never been there but have been wanting to get my Association Board to go for a retreat for several years without success. My husband and I will celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary this fall and your Lodge would be a perfect romantic setting for us. We could take photos to entice the Board members to go next year and take their wives!! We love the outdoors in September and hope to see you this year!!

We are due to visit Heartland once again. I hope to bring friends and family next time. The place is special for many reasons. Just got back from Harpole's...our 4th visit. We really enjoy riding the 4 wheelers on all the trails, and the food is always fabulous! It's a great place for a get away and close to home besides!

It was amazing!! We loved everything about it. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The room and view were amazing! We can't wait to visit again.

It has been to long since we stayed there. The time we stayed there was Amazing. Awesome Food, ATV Riding was a favorite(Got Stuck)I think it took two ATV's to get us out(Sorry). Figured they would seng us to our room without supper, but they let us eat. The rooms are the most comfortable rooms we have ever stayed in. Wonderful Host would give it a 15 out of 10!!! Next time maybe horseback riding.

Sounds like my kind of vacation!!! Love to ride atv's and horses. (as long as they don't buck me off) Love the woods in Fall. Never been to Illinois much less when snowing. Always wanted to ride a horse-drawn sleigh.

We were married at Harpoles on Feburary 14, 2009. It was such a beautiful and peaceful place. The food is to die for and the room was perfect! Staff is helpful and friendly. We are looking forward to coming back again!

We came to Heartland and didn't know that to expect. It was a beautiful and peaceful as the pictures. The food was great, the new people we met were wonderful and the hospitalilty of the lodge was just fabulous. I had just lost my youngest son and needed a get a way. One of the best getaways I have ever experienced. The next time we will stay 2 days instead of one.

This would be a wonderful gift to my husband. We have had a rough year. Tried for 5 years to have a baby and I just had to have a hysterectomy 6 days ago. We really do need a getaway. Havent been anywhere since we got married because we spent all of our money on infertility treatments.

My husband surprised me with a weekend @ Heartland lodge for our 20th wedding anniversary. It was absolutely perfect and exactly what we both needed. We never took a real honeymoon due to getting married during Desert Shield/Desert Storm & him being in the Navy! Everything that was prepared for us and shared with us was extremely generous and beautiful. My favorite thing was how we were prayed with and prayed for during meals by Gary's mom. There are not many places in today's world that make prayer a priority in their business. We were truly blessed by her and our whole experience at Heartland Lodge.

Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz probably said it best, "there's no place like home." We returned to Harpoles Lodge for our second visit this summer and it truly felt like coming home. The hospitality, food, or compfy beds all make you feel like this your home away from home. If you haven't made the trip yet, its just around the corner from Heaven, you can't miss it - until you leave.

After reviewing their great website regarding horse rides, we took our teen-age granddaughter there to celebrate her birthday. We rode the horses, took trips on the ATVs, went on the hayride and enjoyed the firepit. The room exceeded our expectaions and we enjoyed the puzzles and game room. And the excellent food was a big plus! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good time away from it all.

Our son and daughter-in-law booked us an overnight stay as a treat for all our babysitting. It was the most enjoyable time we have spent in the last 10 years. The rooms are awesome and the service and people are beyond all expectations, friendly and go above and beyond special attention to all the people staying at the lodge. Stayed here for our anniversary in 2009. Lodge wasn't completely full, they gave us a upgrade on the room for no added charge.
Food was also excellent.
We also used the ATV trails, and could choose from easy to somewhat more challenging.
We are looking forward to getting back.

We stayed at the resort for our Anniversary and our son was married at the resort, we went horse back ridding, 4 wheeler riding and had a wonderful time. We couldn't have ask for a more relaxing time. The food and staff where excellent!

Have never spent the night, but took our daughter here for her very first 4-wheeling experience. It was such a joy since it wasn't overcrowded, and the trails were kept up, and mapped out. Next time we hope to take horse ride during a break from 4-wheeling.

I have heard amazing things about the lodge. My husbands friend travels there several times a year. I would love to win the trip to see how amazing it is for my self. Not to mention my husband would be thrilled!

I stayed at the lodge several times attending classes, I enjoyed my stay so much i took my wife with me for a romantic getaway. With so nuch to do or not to do if you just want to enjoy the comfort of your room or sit in the rockers on the porch and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We will go back again!!!!!!

I have heard good things about your lodge. You look like you got alot to offer. Your lodge looks beautiful. My husband and i have never stayed in a luxury Suite we would enjoy coming to stay in yours and see for our selfs. We have our own four wheelers and enjoy riding always looking for new places to take and ride ours.Hopefully we will win!

I was there this past spring with a group on a photo shoot. We had a great time. I can't stop raving to everyone about the fantastic people and amazing food! Right after the photo shoot my fiance proposed, and we are getting married the first part of September. We would love to come back!

Your place looks awesome it would be like a honeymoon I never had to win a stay there. I found your website one day when I was looking for places that I could ride our ATV. I have even referred others to your website since it looks so nice.

My fiance and I have been to the lodge twice and have decided that it is THE place to go to refresh our souls. Whether we are sitting on the deck watching the numerous hummingbirds at the feeders or riding the horses on the trails (on our second trip we even saw a brand new baby deer!), the peace and tranquility is awesome. The food is fantastic! The rooms are comfortable!! The people are the best!!! Harpole's Heartland Lodge is most certainly the place for us!!!!

We've been here 5 or six times and will be there again labor day. This is an awesome place, the food is fantastic, the staff is superior and the trails are incredible.

My husband and I stayed in one of the suites for our 25th wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed this lodge and the food was wonderful. We would love to come back and winning a free stay would be amazing.

I have not had the pleasure of staying at your lodge, but have attempted to make it there the past 2 years :(

This would be a wonderful fall stay for our anniversary. Both of our kids will be in college and we will be getting used to being on our own again. I loved your place when we happened on it and am hoping to come visit sometime soon!

The website for Heartland Lodge describes it perfectly-but it just can't describe the hospitality that is extended to you during your stay!
We have stayed there as a family and my husband has also hunted there, even though we have our own hunting property! The hunting trip has become an annual event in January.
You can't beat great food, a professional staff, and 5 star accomodations!

We stayed here and went on the ATV trails. The trails were alot of fun and staying at the lodge was a one of kind of experience that will be cherished for years to come.

We stayed this past weekend in a luxury suite and had a great time. The food was wonderful and we went ATV riding and looked for deer. We hope we will be able to make it back someday!

By the pictures and many comments, Heartland Lodge looks amazing and a wonderful place to stay. My fiancee and I are planning to get married next July and were thinking about taking a mini-honeymoon here. Our 1 year anniversary is coming up in October so we are thinking about staying for a couple days to check things out and see how we like it! I really look forward to staying at the Lodge! :)
