Harpole’s Heartland Lodge New Intern
Hello my name is Aaron Pohl, I’m the new Intern at Harpole’s Heartland Lodge. I grew up in a small town in Michigan called Napoleon. Growing up I would spend my summers on the lake, every day and all day as my family were avid water skiers. If I wasn’t on the lake skiing or fishing you would find me in the woods either getting ready for the next deer season or trying to be the next Evil Kenevil on 2 wheels. I have many interests and hobbies some of them being on the opposite sides of the map. My first love was for the sport of basketball, I was a true diehard all the way through school but I also played baseball, football, and golf. Sports were always a good time and good to me, but nothing has ever compared to my passion for the thrill of hunting and being in the woods. I have attended Central Michigan University for the last 4 years studying Outdoor Recreation and am now completing my degree through my internship. Since being here, the lodge has been making many improvements with landscaping which has been keeping all of us busy. So if you’re staying with us you will most likely see me working on the grounds or in the lodges, and if there is anything I can help you with I would be glad to.
