Pittsfield Public Library

North Pike District Library
Founded in 1887, the North Pike District Library is a Carnegie Library that was built in 1916. See their website for complete list of programs and services, including a children's story hour.

Illinois State Library
The Illinois State Library is the main resource for the state government and has a collection of more than 5 million items. The library subscribes to several electronic databases and services, allowing patrons access to thousands of additional resources. It also serves as a regional federal documents depository and houses more than 185,000 maps. The Illinois Authors Room holds an extensive collection of first-edition books by Illinois authors.
