Lake Pittsfield

Lake Pittsfield is a 200-acre lake located with a 480-acre park and is home to the Lincoln Days Civil War Reenactment on the first weekend of June each year. Enjoy boating, fishing, hiking and picnicking along with tennis courts, softball diamond, soccer field, playground equipment, shelters and other outdoor activities.

Lake Jacksonville

Named #1 Fishing Spot in Illinois by Field and Stream in 2007, this 500-acre man-made lake contains channel catfish, bluegill, bass & red-ear sunfish. Perfect spot for boating, fishing, water-skiing and other water activities.

Two Rivers National Wildlife Refuge

Located in the heart of the Mississippi Flyway. It lies in the floodplain between two major waterways - the Mississippi & Illinois Rivers. Bicycling, boating, fishing, hiking and more are available.

Visitor Center - Monday thru Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

McCully Heritage Project

Facilities and programs that provide the opportunity for the public to appreciate the natural, historical & cultural resources of the lower Illinois River valley. 15 miles of hiking and horseback trails, scenic overlooks, two fishing ponds, wildlife and bird watching, wildflowers and trees, geocaching, picnic areas, wetland with a boardwalk, and a birding trail & bird nest exhibit.
