The stay was unbelievable, couldn't ask for anything nicer!  Wow, is all I can say.  Hunter who helped with our sporting clays was a hoot! Good job guys!

Beautiful, super clean accommodations, my room was fabulous as was the entire lodge. The staff was the friendliest I've ever experienced.  The lady at check-in/front office and everyone at the dining hall.  The food was so good! This visit exceeded all of my expectations! Would love to come back with family!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay during our staff retreat! So much so that I would love to return on a personal trip. I also appreciated the hayrack ride to see the Mississippi Valley.

I didn't know what to expect for a company team building trip to Nebo, IL.  Needless to say, I was blown away by this beautiful lodge. So much attention to detail and the staff was all wonderful.  I look forward to bringing my family in the future.

I was extremely impressed with all the staff; it made for a very friendly and comfortable environment. The meals were delicious, the events were exciting, and the lodging amenities were amazing.

What a pleasant surprise! I loved the ambiance as soon as we walked in the lodge! Also loved that there was a dinner plate waiting for us when we arrived! Ms. Wanda was the BEST! So sweet! Also, enjoyed Kelsey and Austin who served us--such sweet kids! Loved 4 wheeling and shooting ! Hunter was so patient with our group. He was also an excellent instructor! Thank you for the fun filled weekend!

The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing. You can really see that Wanda and everyone on the property care so much about the resort and we're lucky to have been a part of it.

Had a great time!  Went with my wife on her staff retreat with Orchardville Church. Stayed at the Original Lodge which is very nice, clean, and plenty of space.  Had a great time of fellowship with friends and shared a lot of laughs!  Food was excellent and great people serving meals and taking care of us all. Thanks and God Bless you all!

I was pleasantly surprised with how friendly and helpful the staff was when booking the reservation.  It was also very helpful that the staff notified me of all rooming/suite accommodations as well as rules and meal preparations.  They went above and beyond to make myself and my guests happy and comfortable during our meetings and stay.  Receiving the invoice in advance was a major plus as we like to keep to a budget for our meetings as well.

We have used Heartland Lodge for several years for our management retreat, great facilities for private conversation & meeting facilities.  The service of the staff is fantastic and the food is amazing!!

Heartland Lodge is a wonderful experience for all administration.  Everyone was wonderful and the meals were incredible.  Our clay thrower, Hunter, was very fun for our clay shooting experience.

I had attended a two-day company seminar and was very impressed with the level of service for this type of function.  The facilities and food service were exceptional, along with the hay ride and campfire activities!

What a gem!!!  I knew as opportunity came to explore, that your "Retreat" lodge was "Christian" and I found it to be a comfort and a blessing, it is evident that it is by the employee's kindness and willingness to serve, their hospitality and just the general feel one gets.  I have already recommended Heartland Lodge to 20 of my friends.

Everything was great!  The food was worth the trip alone.  Every meal was excellent but the best of the best was the meatloaf!  The activities were very fun and enjoyable and both Mike and Matt went out of their way to make sure that we had a good time.  Everyone at the resort was extremely friendly and helpful.  The only negative was the gnats and that was overcome with the bug spray available at the gift shop.

It is a beautiful place! We loved the decor! Especially the dining room and great room! The food was amazing! So much and so delicious! Everyone was helpful and friendly. We wished we could have had more time to go outside and enjoy the balconies, etc. Super place!
