Heartland Lodge was selected the #1 most romantic destination in Illinois! We will be offering our February Valentine’s romantic packages again for the entire month of February 2024! Take advantage of one of the following romance packages!
February is one of the most romantic times of the year to be at the lodge. So, instead of making Valentine’s Day the only romantic day of the month, we have decided to make February “the romance month”! Curl up in bed with the love of your life and enjoy the fireplace or soak together in your very own two-person Whirlpool!

Weekday Romance Package (Sunday – Thursday)
- Free Cuddle Basket – Includes hot chocolate, popcorn, and homemade pretzel sticks (basket not included).
- $20 credit to our pro shop per couple. (Must be used during stay)
- $10 off our meals package per person. (Reg $55, Package price $45)
- 20% off our romantic baskets. *(Reg $60, Package price $49)
- 20% off your room rate from the weekend rate. (See rates below)
- 10% additional off your room rate if you book 2 or more nights. (One night is not enough! 🙂
Weekend Romance Package (Friday & Saturday)
- Free Cuddle Basket – Includes hot chocolate, popcorn, and homemade pretzel sticks (basket not included).
- 20% off our romantic baskets. *(Reg $60, Package price $49)
- 5% off your room rate if you book 2 or more nights. (One night is not enough! 🙂
- $10 off each full round of sporting clays. (Reg $49, Package price $39)
- Free shed hunting.
*Romantic basket includes souvenir wine glasses, fruit & cheese. (Basket not included)
Must ask for “Romance Package” upon making reservations. (Not valid February 3rd/ 4th or 10th/ 11th. Good for new reservations only and must be made by telephone.)
Following are our rates in February (rates vary on weekdays(WD)/weekends(WE)):
New Private Luxury Cabins (Right across from our main entrance) $315(WD)/$350(WE)
- 4 private cabins (2 cabins next to each other)
- Very romantic
- Meal plan available Sunday through Thursday in February only for Luxury Cabins due to limited space on weekends. Each cabin has full kitchens. Check our Convenient Meal Options for the cabins.
- 11 Regular Rooms: Two extra-long twin beds with a private bath for $95(WD)/$105(WE).
- Whitetail Suite: King size bed, Whirlpool tub, fireplace, and a private entrance to the deck for $148(WD)/$165(WE).
- Angler Room: Queen- sized bed, bunk beds and private bath for $129(WD)/$143(WE).
Prairie Ridge Lodge: (where our meals are served)
- 7 Luxury Suites: King bed, daybed/trundle, Whirlpool tub, large bathroom, sitting area, fireplace and entrance to the deck for $175(WD)/$195(WE).
Sunset Valley Lodge: (Less than a mile from our main resort)
- The Grand Suite: King bed, double shower with a view, sauna, sunken Whirlpool tub with surrounding views for $247(WD)/$275(WE).
- All About the View Suite: Upper level with surrounding views, including a view from the Whirlpool tub while watching the sunset. Has a king bed, sitting area, bonus room with a queen bed/twin bunk, private bath and fireplace for $247(WD)/$275(WE).
- Sunset View Suite: Lower level with a king bed, Whirlpool tub facing the sunset, large bathroom and a private screened in all season room for $247(WD)/$275(WE).
- Wilderness Room: Main Level room with a king bed and entrance to the deck and gazebo for $130(WD)/$145(WE)
- Bluebird Room: Lovely queen bed room with private bath for $124(WD)/$138(WE)
- Pintail Room: King bed room with private bath for $124(WD)/$138(WE)
Heavenly View Cabin: (five miles from the main resort)
- Enjoy this private cabin all to yourself! Cozy and comfortable! $337(WD)/$375(WE)
