Prairie Ridge – Luxury Lodge
Prairie Ridge Lodge is named after the prairie grasses that surround the resort. This lodge is also known as our luxury lodge as it has over 10,000 square feet of luxurious warmth and features seven luxury suites. All seven of the luxury suites are designed the same but each one is decorated with its own theme, each theme having significant meaning related to the lodge property. For example, the Stage Coach Suite is named after the stage coach that once traveled on the dirt road that winds through our entire resort. A pond that was made by buffalo when they roamed this area inspired the name of the Buffalo Pond Suite. We hope you enjoy the history behind the names of these seven luxury suites.
All seven suites in this lodge feature an ultra-comfy king-size, triple-sheeted canopy bed, private bath with Jacuzzi, fireplace, daybed, comfy sitting area, mini refrigerator and direct access to the expansive wrap-around decks. Each room has its own private Adirondack chairs on the deck where you can relax first thing in the morning enjoying a cup of coffee while watching nature wake up around you. During the afternoon and evening, relax on the deck with your favorite beverage or bottle of wine. The ultra-comfy beds have become an attraction themselves! All you have to do is choose the room theme or location you like the best. Better yet, we suggest multiple stays so you can try them all out! Each room at Prairie Ridge Lodge can be booked privately for individual guests and reservations. Prairie Ridge Lodge can also be booked privately for your group. All seven suites must be reserved for this cabin to be exclusive to your group or family. Click the sections below for more information.

Prairie Ridge Lodge is named after the prairie grasses that surround the resort. You will see prairie grasses along many of the roads on your drive to the resort. As you enjoy the resort property by horseback, ATV or hiking, you will travel across our main ridge – also traveled by stage coach – and you will be surrounded by the beauty of prairie grasses. Also, as you travel to Heartland Lodge, you will see several bluff prairies along the river bluffs. One of these river bluff prairies is located at our turn off Highway 96 onto Howell Hollow Road and many field biologists stay with us while working on the prairie.
