Typical April weather is perfect for being outdoors and enjoying the lodge activities. Mosquitoes and other pesky bugs are typically still dormant which allows for enjoyable time spent outside, either around the campfire or just enjoying the sunset from the lodge’s beautiful porch views! Another plus a spring break getaway at the lodge is the absolutely beautiful array of trees that start blooming and morel mushroom hunting! You can mushroom hunt on 700 acres of prime mushroom hunting ground when you book an overnight reservation!

You can also visit some historic areas, enjoy lunch in a quaint, small-town diner and enjoy some shopping at all the unique shops in-between your stops at the wineries.
