  1. Awesome looking Operation. Do you have any Saturday hunts left for this year? We would be interested in a 2 night 1 day hunt. We do have a shorthair we would like to bring with us. She is 9 months old and needs the work. I’m from Mo and our season is closed. What would be the cost associated with the out of state one day tag? Hope to hear from you soon.

    1. Hi Tom, thank you for your comment. Yes, we have several Saturdays open. The last Saturday in February is open along with the first two in March. Your hunting license would only be $12.75. Please call us at 217-734-2526 to make your reservation. I look forward to having you hunt with us!

  2. I live in Alabama. I grew up behind great hunting dogs.Britany’s and pointers, and setters. Please send me available dates for Jan. Feb.,and march. 2 night’s stay 1 day hunt, unlimted birds. Thanks, ”
    Uncle Bud”

    1. Hi Uncle Bud! We appreciate your interest in hunting with us this year. We sent you an email, let us know if you have any other questions! Thanks!

  3. I make 3 to 4 wild upland bird hunts a season. I’ve hunted many preserves and never been satisfied on how the birds flush that is why I strictly hunt wild birds. My friend and i have welll trained Brits and been tempted to try your place for a couple of reasons, your close compare driving to ND, Kansas and Iowa. Second can hunt February and March. All the properties we hunt are private and cost a lot less. We like only hunting with our dogs. What can I expect only interested in quail and pheasants. Plus can hunt any day of the week. I’m sure if we like it we would book a few times a season. I llive in Indiana nothing close that has good upland bird hunting.

    1. Hello Ray, we have a healthy population of wild quail and pheasants in our upland fields. We plant several food plots and manage our native grasses to enhance the survivability rate of our wild birds through the winter. We have semi-guided hunt packages that should accommodate you well. With a little walking, you should be able to get into some great wingshooting action on our farms. Thank you!

  4. Was thinking of surprising my husband for our anniversary. Do you have opening for march 22- 25. I was looking at a 2 day hunt. Upland bird, quail and pheasant. He had such a good time when he went before.
    Thanks
    Pam
